Electric Safari
Located in Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, Electric Safari is the only place in the city where you can see over 85 unique light sculptures while celebrating the season with the wilderness. This year’s new feature allows you to take pictures with enormous inflatable animals you can find throughout the zoo.
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo never disappoints when it comes to exceptional both children and grownups. Most people think of hot days when visiting the sun, which is why many people overthink whether to visit or not. Still, in Colorado Springs zoo, you don’t have to worry about that, as this spectacular Electric Safari event is held in December when the sun sets. It’s safe to say that this event is for kids, families, grownups, and even partners looking for a romantic, unique experience as they can enjoy a romantic walk through the thousands of lights and top off the date with a visit to the Wild Burger patio for a nice drink.
Electric Safari received 3rd place in the Best Zoo Lights in the United States by USA TODAY. This year, Santa Claus will appear to listen to the kid’s Christmas wishes from December 3-5 and 10-23. Celebrate the season with this unique family experience with sparkling lights, inflatable animals, real animals, and fun for the whole family.
Tickets are required for both members and nonmembers. Zoo members’ tickets are free, but they must reserve in advance. Due to the Electric Safari’s popularity, times and nights may sell out. Every visitor must have an e-ticket, including children of any age. Discounted tickets are available for military and seniors. In case of high winds or severe wheater conditions, inflatables may need to be appropriately appreciated.
