Parks to Visit in Colorado Springs During Quarantine
Stay home – do your part.
Quarantining means no going out to restaurants, stores, events, etc. It does not mean you cannot go to the park, take a walk, or any other social distancing activities.
Here are three parks to visit during your quarantine time:
1. John Venezia Community Park – picnic areas, playground, turf field, soccer field, basketball court, pickleball courts, walking trails, and lots more!

Trying to be better about posting our adventures to my feed and not just in stories.???♀️ . This is the John Venezia Park located in northern Colorado Springs off Briargate Pkwy. . They have a good variety of activities…swings, sandpit, large climbing play structure with multiple slides, a climbing merry-go-round and through the summer they have a splash park. You could bring bikes or scooters as they have a lot of sidewalks around the playground too. . Next time you find yourself on the north end of town check out this park. . Not too far away is @basilandbarleypizzeria as well as the @shopsbriargate so lots of options to grab a bite to eat after the park!
2. Monument Valley Park – sports courts, soccer field, outdoor pool, fishing, picnic area, hiking and biking trails.
3. Palmer Park – where city meets nature! Included with a playground, many hiking and biking trails, beach volleyball, baseball field, and areas to picnic.
